I too just got ripped off from them and as of Mon I am going to the R.C.M.P headquarters in ottawa to file a report on Kyle Danby and canwest...I was stupid enough to send $1000 to a kelly adams in vancouver B.C through money gram...

I was in contact with kyle a few times until the last week where he has not answered any calls or emails from me... I am an idiot and now have learned my lesson, possibly never seeing that 1000 dollars i sent again.... I hope that the R.C.M.P and phonebusters,credit bereau's,BBB can put a stop to this company and possibly nail this Kyle Danby.....

I urge all people dealing with or thinking of dealing with CANWEST CREDIT to STOP!!!!!!!!!! And report them as this company needs to be shut down and these scammers KYLE DANBY to be prosecuted!!!!!!!!

I have kept all emails and info-contract he sent me and will be turning it over to the proper authorities come Mon morning 9am....
Also I'll be checking Money Gram to see when and where the money was picked up.... Dammm i'm an idiot!!!!!!!

Plus Credit bureaus will be on alert on my behalf too as of Mon as ireally dont care for a bad score because of the alert being put on as i already have crappy credit....

Check your credit report immediately. You can have it sent to you for free or buy it (and your score too) online for immediate access. If you don't have a credit card to check it, you can buy a prepaid visa giftcard at Safeway.

Sign up for a credit monitoring service. I use Identity guard for the Equifax and Transunion has its own monitoring service that I use. If you don't have a credit card for this, you can get a prepaid reloadable card. Much Music has the cheapest one on the market right now.

At the first hint of even an inquiry on your account you need to place a fraud alert on your file. You can skip right to the fraud alert, but it can make getting credit more troublesome which is why I tend to prefer not to do so unless absolutely necessary.

And, of course, file a report with the police, phone busters, and the consumer protection. Perhaps even with the BBB so if someone uses them to check it out they will not send their info.

I rTrie to call the 416 the number was not in servise and then try 604 just an answering machine.
I was trying to let him know that the money as ben transfered so that ican give him the Transfer number.
The good thing i did some google on him and be able to find out about can west and i was able to put a stop and get my money back thanks guys for putting up this info.
But now i have another problem i sent him my information paystub, drivers licence, my SIN and my Void check with my bank information.
So whati can i do to protect myself this information from identity thefty.?
What do the do with this information.
How can we stop them. I am from Toronto which office can i call so that the can start tracking them down,
This happen on September 26.2007 when i was able to save my money being taken by these scammer.
