Hey, you want iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency collection "mesages?!"
These aren't e-mail messages, as the folks at iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency are way too dumb to chase down e-addresses and spam us to death (Gott sei dank!) but for the last 5 (+/-) years I have
received regular telephone calls about a (presumed) sixty-buck fine I supposedly owe the City Of Toronto! Assuming the folks who
place this "telephonic spam" are earning a typical telemarketing wage ($7/hour) for standing by to see if I "press any button" to connect with "headquarters"... iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency has so far
spent well over the $60 in qtestion, let alone
the 50% or 76% of that to which they are entitled to as collectors!

I'm strongly tempted (since this isn't money I actually OWE!!) to let this run for as long as it possibly can...!

Will iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency finally figure out that they have spent about $200 to obtain their share of a $60 debt...or will they send a few bikers over to my abode to physically deal with me?!

The world awaits the next chapter...!!

Raymond,
Are you following this thread.?
Mayor Boston's collection letter

Boston has been kind enough to give us a real "bogus" collection letter from Contact Resource Services Inc.

This is pretty explosive, espcially since Boston claims that he's never dealt with Canadian Tire.

There's all sorts of breaches with this one.

Sorry my spelling is not up to your sstandads!!! After a long hard day of dealing with people who don't pay their bills, and then yell at us for it.

I love blanket statements like that...

Well, if you take arrogance from your children (assuming they are past the "terrible two" stage, when life involves mainly arrogance...) you are NOT helping them to become "decent human beings"...far from it!

Yes, I know it's the "XXI Jahrhundert," and arrogance is the standard lifestyle...but I grew up a long time ago, when "please" and "thank you" were heard a LOT more than "GOTCHA!!!"

Applicable point...if someone calls, shows me some respect and listens to my situation...they are at least likely to get whatever money I can scratch up. OTOH, if someone calls, starts the conversation out by lying through their teeth, and proceeds to insult and try to humiliate me (especially when they are calling from an "outsourced" call centre in Jamaica, and are earning the least that iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency can get by with paying them...!) I immediately lose all interest in trying to find them any funds...!

FEH!!

oH HOH! I laughed till I cried!

Yah. It must suck to work at a collection agency. I am really hearing that.

My first experience with collection agents was decades ago and even though I didnt know then what I know now, I was amazed at how unprofessional and aggressive they seemed.

Now I see how all that bristle just turns to jelly when you show them that you wont be pushed around. Sadly they go bristling at someone else then.

But Jan, you should know, we might take arrogance from our kids because they are still learning to be decent human beings but if someone from a collection agency calls and tries on the "arrogant hat" they need to go to their room for a time-out.

If youre getting paid to be offensive then please remember that there is no principle truer than you get what you give. Maybe rethink your career choice?

Well, the post of the (presumed) iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency employee gives the whole thing away! First, given his (or so he claims) essential lack of literacy, he is in a position where he has to accept ANY job he can find (he could have been a bouncer, or a security guard...we got off easy...!) and is thus collecting minimum wage (in whatever country he lives) as a call-centre "representative!"

Second, his easy dismissal of the debtors he has to call as crooks (or worse) will come back to haunt him when he receives a layoff notice and still has to make the payments on all the "bling" he purchased on credit! What goes around comes around...

Third, he is very clearly a fundamental orifice of the first water...which seems to be a necessary qualification for iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency call-centre sla...er, employees!

Fourth, in spite of his oddly-worded denial, he *IS* an IDIOT!

Oh where, oh where has my little dog, gone...

Wow, the grammar is just an absolute nightmare. How do you even communicate what you want? Do you yell to people, "Show me the money!?"

No need to apologize to me, but your lack of correct spelling, constant use of exclamation marks shows everyone what a very high strung person you are, and how high strung most collection people are.

Somehow banks can forgive large loans to countries and corporations, settling for pennies on the dollar, but if a citizen happens to come upon hard times and would like to settle their "few thousand" dollar loan, then all of a sudden the Nazi storm troopers are let loose.

If only banks went after the people that owe them the most instead of spending so much energy going after little people.

The only reason banks do go after little people is that we cannot afford high priced lawyers who would tell screaming collectors like yourself to shut up or be served cease and desist orders.

You abuse because you can, not because you have to.

Oh, and here's a small hint; "It's not your personal money!"
Why take is so seriously when the executive board in their ivory tower is buying boxes for Toronto Maple Leaf games at $500,000 a pop and it sits empty. I bet that money could forgive a few loans or even raise a few employee salaries.

Stop being a pawn of the rich and start being a human being.

Here endeth the lesson.
