Student loans in Canada help post-secondary students pay for their education in Canada. The federal government funds the Canada Student Loan Program (CSLP) and the provinces may fund their own programs or run in parallel with the CSLP.

BC Interest Relief is a program that helps former students who are experiencing difficulties repaying their British Columbia Student Loans because of low income. If you are approved for Interest Relief, you will not have to make payments on your BC student loan for 6 months. There will be no interest accrual for this period.

there's really no way to know what your chances are.. there are so many factors... and to be honest, I'm not really sure about student loans. etc..

I do know this... please make sure you read all of the fine print, as student loans are locked up, guaranteed, and hard to declare in a bankruptcy.

Should you have to default later, you need to know the downside right away.
