Wanted: Somali pirates.
Collection agencies have been quick to notice how much loot Somali pirates have been able to carry off with little fear of retribution.
An uneducated, hostile, onerous, young Somali with no morals can take in over $75,000 for a 2 week excursion. Publicity of this and the fact that governments feel there is little to do they can stop [It hasn't dawned on them to shoot back yet] the ongoing financial nazis of the high seas has created a real dilemma for owners of local collection agencies like Total Credit Recovery and Gobal Collections. To their dismay, they're finding out many Somali pirates are taking home far in excess of what their collectors are.
In the quandry over how to cash in on all the overseas action, collection owners find they have basically 2 options
Should they contract out their own inhouse collection henchmenn to serve on Somali ships on "tours of duty" and expand operations to the Gulf Of Aden where the collections act is written by who have the biggest RPG?
OR
Should they try to lure the Somali pirates from their current stomping grounds and let them expand their operations into Canada by working the phones in their offices?
Stay tuned, negotiations are underway. Interim reports suggest the Somalis are willing to give up their ships so long as they can keep their RPG's and half the loot they extort, er I mean, recover.
The looming Christmas season combined with huge rounds of anticipated layoffs and throngs of people in collections have certainly made collection owners cognizant of the increased revenue opportunities.
