Well... it appears these morons are reading your site. I just checked their website... they've cleaned up their site and changed their contact info to "info@transcanadaloans.com". Still no real contact info.

And, of course they're upset about the contact info being posted... they're scam artists!

in any case...
It only matters where Consumer Protection lists them...

I'd be interested if somebody could contact Ontario Justice - Corporations branch and ask them where this companies official address is... and verify if under which Act Trans Canada Loans is regulated under... IE Trusts and Loans , mortgage broker etc.

It scares me that they're working out of a PO box.

PS... I just checked my traffic logs for how many people have found our site by looking for Trans Canada Loans.. we're about 100 searches so far for them... That means that some people are interested in know what's going on with them.

according to the woman we dealt with, the office address they want the deposits sent to 3555 Don Mills Rd Suite 18-301 Toronto, Ontario M2H 3N3 is a drop box and their office is actually located in Windsor Ontario.

Hmmm...

People need to know what's going on in the market place. Is there a real office for Trans Canada Loans?

The employees at Trans Canada Loans are very welcome to drop by and post the facts here on this site.

BTW... after you posted your concerns, I had other people who were VERY curious to know about the credibility of Trans Canada Loans...

I'm still curious to know who they are because they DON'T have any web presence... Not to say that 0% web presence means 0% credibility. :)

just a heads up though, the lady who contacted my wife at work from Trans Canada Loans was upset about my postings here and the fact that I had posted contact #'s for them. She advised that one of the numbers I posted is in fact a phone service # (call routing service) and that I should not have posted it. According to her, my funds are now being allocated elsewhere because I have not submitted the deposit yet.

Hey sheppardvines,

I'm glad that this isn't becoming a scandalous scam then!

Thanks for the heads up on that.

Hey everybody, after receiving a call from my wife, it appears I have some apologizing to do, first for not listening completely to her and for posting incorrect info here. The loan we received was actually from Trans Canada Credit, not Trans Canada Loans. After receiving their "pre approval", my wife became suspicious and contacted Trans Canada Credit in the maritimes who hold a small mortgage for us on a piece of property we have there. They advised that they are not affiliated in any way with Trans Canada Loans. Despite being turned down by Trans Canada Credit (aka Wells Fargo) before, they did infact issue the $12,000 funds we needed but before doing so, we had to pay off an outstanding debt that was on our credit report. After faxing them the receipt for the payment and signing the loan documents, the funds were in our account within 24 hours. I apologize for the confusion I have caused.

Hmmm...
I've got a lady calling me and asking if Trans Canada Loans in Winnipeg is a real company...
I'm going to do some research on that...

Ok... I just called TransCanada Credit in Regina, and they mentioned that they are not affiliated with Trans Canada Loans... Also they are no longer TransCanada Credit, but changed their name to Wells Fargo Personal Loans...

I don't see any other reference to Trans Canada Loans on the internet.

Her message:Good morning: Just need to know urgently if Trans Canada Loans in Winnipeg is a real lender please. The telephone number is 416-208-3003. Could you please check a.s.a.p. Thank you!
