Bernard Gasee IS TCR

Dont let them intimidate you. I owe from over three years ago as well, $800.00 but now with Interest it is over $1,000.00

They are very nasty and sneaky. And if you ask to speak to Gassee specifically, they always stall.

The debt is well over 2 yrs old, now do I contact Rogers, and try and locate file, so I know what its all about. Do I send money, if and when I can to the law office or TCR?

This sounds fairly sketchy to me.

It is possible that legal action might be taken for $1100, but it seems at the very low end. And if your debt is over 2 years old from the last payment, it is not eligible for legal action.

I would recommend that you do resolve the debt, but send the funds in physical post-dated cheques via registered mail to the agency, and not doing a hand-written note for a pre-authorized payment in the manner recommended. It doesn't sound very professional, or reputable.

Ok, so it appears I owe rogers from, can't remember when for cell phone charges. TCR called and I explained I didn't have the available funds, of course that went on for awhile. Then the law firm of Bernard Gassee started calling, and they agreed to a reduced payment, if I would fax a hand written letter, with all my bank info, and stating that it was ok for them to do this. I decided not ok to give them permission to go into my account, based on a hand written note. I offered to do a pre-auth. they said no too late want full amount. I explained I didn't have and now am told going to sue me for $1100....what now?
