Well, for the record, I am a real, genuine, human being (and thus unlikely to be a stinking "dun-chaser!"...)...who lives with Ecru the cat (who probably doesn't think of himself as "mine"...) in Oshawa, Ont'o., Canada in a house almost 14 decades old...and who is being harassed on a daily-or-more basis by the aforementioned iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency (who should go unprint their hat(s)!).

Sorry Steven,
Raymond thought that you were a collection agent posing as a non- collection agent.

This has happened before where collection agents get on here and try to waste time by putting up lame comments etc.

I can see that you're probably not a collection agent.

Sorry about that misunderstanding.

I am very interested to hear about your experiences with canadian financial institutions.

HUH?!?!

I'm not trying to "make a fool" of anybody, or destroy anyone's ( iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency exempted) web presence! Nor am I defending...in ANY way...ANY actions of iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency and their ilk!

Explain, please...?!

Monty, what are you doing? This man is trying to make a fool of you and ruin your website. Can't you see that?

I would have to sit down and read in detail the "Charter Of Rights," and then compare that to known and documented actions of iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency and/or other "dun chasers!"

Since it's well past midnight here in Skae's Corners, that will have to wait until a subsequent date...

However, the reality is that collection operations generally base their actions on the assumption that the chas-ee is ignorant of
the laws concerning their activities...as well as easily scared!

Kinda like Black sharecroppers in the deep south...

Hey Steven C Barr,
Do you have any documentation to back up your opinion of the Charter of Rights?

Well, I'll admit to a defiency in my knowledge of legal matters, since I'm not possessor of an LL.B!

However, given the tendency of iQor, Inc formerly CBCL - Canadian Bonded Credit Limited - Now Iqor Collection Agency to "push the envelope" in their over-enthusiastic collection activity, is it quite possible that the Charter Of Rights could become involved...!

The Supreme Court of Canada doesn't deal with these types of civil cases. It deals with the interpretation of federal and provincial legislation and powers as well as important criminal and constitutional human rights issues, like, can 2 guys get married or can 1 man have 4 wives.

Provincial small claims courts deal with amounts from 6k to 25K. After that, you're into the divisional courts which are very, very, very, expensive. You better not lose if you own a house.

Tell that to (the late) John E. Dowling's family.
