The only way of possibly succeeding will be to get the creditor to change the info they've sent to the credit bureaus. Complaining directly to a credit bureau, especially when you have no paperwork to back you up, is futile. Needless to say, approaching the matter through a collection agency is equally pointless.
If you call Shaw's billing department, perhaps you can get them to agree that you don't really owe anything. If so, they likely would be willing to put it in writing. Do NOT bring up credit bureau reports until, if and when, they agree to an amendment. Then and only then should you bring up the matter of your credit file. Explicitly ask them to make the correction, or quite likely they won't bother.
