Low interest rate credit cards have known to be the best credit cards for persons who belong to the category credit users. Credit users are credit card holders who use the credits that they have for any business transactions. Usually, these credit cards users don’t pay off completely the balance that they are due for. They would make partial payment of it and allow interest charges to be applied on the total amount of payables that needs to be settled.

Commonly, people who are using this kind of cards are those who don’t have sufficient income to support their basic needs or individuals who are relying solely on their credit card for any purchases or deals they engage into.

orangepekoe,
I agree with footloose
You should try to increase your monthly payments... reducing them will just increase the time you're paying off the debt and ultimately the amount of interest you're paying on the debt

IE... the credit card is charging you rent on their money... the longer you pay, the more rent you pay on their money. Low interest credit cards would probably help you out alot

Instead of worrying about reducing your minimum payments, you should be more concerned about reducing your charges to your credit cards and start paying CASH. With $25,000 in credit card debt, you, my friend, are drowning in debt. If you have any interruption in your source of income, i.e. lose your job, become sick or disabled, you are in DEEP DOODOO. If this happens, you may be facing BANKRUPTCY. Get a "grip" on your financial life. Starting in 2011, discipline yourself to do the following. If you can't pay cash for a product or service, then you can't afford to charge it to a credit card. The balance on your credit cards will begin to drop as you make your monthly payments and so will your minimum payments. Remember, NEVER pay just the minimum payment but always pay more, even if it just $10 more. Always say to yourself, "If I can't pay cash for this product or service, then I can't afford it". Once you start using this approach to your finances, then you can start thinking about applying for a lower interest credit card. One final note. Either you start to control your debt or your debt will control you. Think about it. The choice is up to you.

There are a lot of credit card companies that offer low interest rate credit cards. So what’s with these cards that make it advantageous and what type of people would be interested of using them? Here are some of the types of consumers who would want them:
People who have big balances that had been there for years will be the first persons who will get attracted to the lower interest rates that these cards can offer. Lower minimum repayment schemes can be possible because these cards can bring a reduced compound interest, thus enabling the fast balance repayment.
People who have problems with paying high penalty fees and damages are surely be attracted with these cards, too. As they have introductory rates that are appealing, it makes it easier for them to make repayments on the dot. This offer is not included and offered in regular rate credit cards.
People get their eyes on offers like a higher credit limit offered for people with the same level of income. Payments for larger amounts can be made on the same card. Different banks have different offers that is why thorough research is suggested prior to choosing the desired card to apply for. People who are in the red as of recession time are the ones who’ll get caught with the magnetic pull of low interest rate credit cards as they would give favorable results.
People who have an itch for loyalty programs and rewards will find these cards appealing. Special deals are words that people lookout for. Higher interest rate cards do not offer this as well. Upgrades and special deals are music to the ears of consumers, much more in times like recession when people would want to get an apple for free.
Choosing the low interest rate credit card will get you all the benefits that you want and the satisfaction of a shopper will be served. So, make a wise decision. Money counts.
