see, if somebody knows my card number..how can he view my credit report? they dont know my sin or my username or password, or dob. the only way i see it, is that somebody must have hacked into the equifax database, OR, an employee is responsible.

It is really serious. You should clarify the issue without any delay and fix the problem. Otherwise the fraudsters will continue to steal money from your credit card account. Try to remember where you have used that card: online or only offline, in which stores? The important data regarding your credit card might be stolen everywhere you have used the card.

hmm...well i did have a dispute with equifax about few years ago about a couple of r9's on my report...maybe they wanted to get back at me for all the grief that i caused them

but i don't want to point fingers at anyone...for all i know it could have been a hacker accessing their database in the states. i dont really know their network architecture, but equifax did disclose that your information maybe stored in countries other then canada

no need to call equifax.

i called up my bank and they dealt with it accordingly. getting a new card in the mail and they said they would remove it!.

Did you contact equifax about it?
They must have known your credit card number, etc in order to pass Equifax's identifying questions.

Let us know how you resolved that fraudulent situation

As the title of the post reads, somebody ordered my credit report 6 times and charged me $143.70!!!!!
