It turns out that Raymond was correct in what he was saying about Brian Pitkin... Deanna Natale, Global Collections etc...

Raymond however was a little too beligerent about it.

Brian Pitkin Promo Page

Postby Raymond » Sun Jan 13, 2008 07:26:26 PM

Some of you Ontario residents may have been disappointed in Brian Pitkin's response (or lack thereof) to your complaints about collection agencies. If this is the case, one can see possibly why from his personal blurb page. He is a former sheriff. (A sheriff is a person who seizes property for collectors).

So I guess ol' Charlie was right when he said Brian Pitkin wouldn't like me.

Pitkin was also former member of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and the Police Complaints Commission in Ontario. To what extent Pitkin influenced them is not clear but both of those commissions are known to be almost totally ineffective for anyone forced to rely on them.

Brian Pitkin is the Registrar for Collection Agencies in Ontario. He's with the Ministry of Consumer Protection and is ultimately responsible for the enforcement of the rules that collection agencies are supposed to live by.

As I've said, it's all window dressing. The rules are broken not only in Ontario but across Canada 10,000 times a day, and not a single collection agent has ever lost their license to my knowledge. Last year I challenged people to name one but no one could. Recall your own experience with CRS and review what XDebt_Collector had to say last week as just 2 small cases in point.

That did it; I'll have to go to charm school.

Can't help it if 3 of my favorite columnists are Mark Steyn, Ann Coulter and Kathy Shaidle. Probably 3 of Charlie's favorites too - oh darn, I just did it again, didn't I?

If you can take a break from fighting off the women, maybe you could say hello to "Michaelepower" for me.

Meow!

Well the verdict is in, the jury's gone home and the headline reads "Raymond is a Secret Collection Agent" How do I know this? Because you just can't get rid of him! Raymond, I did take some of your advice seriously though, I read quite a few of the forums posts----your posts actually. And I now see what the problem is, you have absolutely zero social skills. With this in mind, please find this helpful. Tomorrow morning, first thing, jump on your computer and quit at least 80% of the forums you belong to, not everyone is interested in your opinions. Next, tell the 50 cats you live with that you won't be able to mentor them today because you are going out! Then head out to a mall, or some place with a lot of people and try to communicate with them, face to face. Here are some things you should avoid doing. #1 When you meet someone for the first time, do not beat them over the head and act like a smart ass, nobody likes that. #2 Try not to be obnoxious, arrogant, and condescending, I know this will be difficult for you,but try. #3 Don't talk about Nazis, Fascism, Hilter, or anything like that. It doesn;t matter how drunk or stupid you are, you will not make friends. In fact, it is so offensive you will probably make enemies. #4 When someone tells you to go away------"Go Away" If not, then like most of the rest of the people who used to be in your life, they too will get restraining orders! Raymond, if you try the above and still fail, it's ok, you can go back to teaching your cats html and posting to the many forums you belong to on Monday. And by the way, leave Brian Pitkin alone, he doesn't like you either!
