Recently, after applying for an AMEX CARD, I Began to Receive Calls from this Agency, DCA.
They Informed Me that I Had a Debt from AMEX incurred in '04.
I Informed Them that I Had NEVER Possessed an AMEX CARD before.
The Individual I was Speaking With..."Cathy".. Informed Me that DCA would Be Making HARD INQUIRIES on My Credit Report and "Not to Lie to Anyone" about the Reason Why. I was Also Told by this Individual "I'll never get Credit Again".
All Attempts to Speak to Her regarding this Mistake end up with her saying "the Calls will Continue" then her hanging up.
I have made a Formal Complaint on the DSA Website and have yet to receive any reply.
I have R1 Credit But DO NOT Appreciate the HARD INQUIRIES on my Credit Report.I Know that they CAN NOT Post it to the Credit Bureaus due to it's Age.
I Can Not Believe these People. After Reading the Owners, Mr. Mundavi I believe, Post stating his company abides by all Regulations and His Companies Website extolling their "Professional" Approach I can not even get these people to Supply Information Regarding the Account I am being Mistakenly held Accountable for. All I Receive are Threats and Hang-Ups.
I'm Trying to Resolve this Situation but CAN'T As NO ONE in DCA is Willing to Speak to Me, let alone Work with me to Rectify this Mistake.
I live in ONTARIO and will be Researching My Options to Have this BAD ACCOUNT removed from DCA's Books.
I can't contact AMEX Directly as I Have ZERO INFORMATION on this Account.
It seems these "People" have NO INTEREST in Resolving Problems just In Causing GRIEF to those Unfortunate enough to have their Name come across this Agencies Desks.
Should anyone have any Information that Could Assist me in having this Account REMOVED from DCA's Books I would be Greatly Appreciative Again, I Live in ONTARIO.
