kristy3737,

Again,
The U.S. credit card companies need to be able to verify your personal / credit information. If they can't pull a credit bureau on you, reasonably speaking, they won't give you a credit card as an individual.

That's why it was exciting to get one under my companies name with no credit check.

Hey Thaiboxer74,

I registered a corporation in Las Vegas.
I had to do some disclosure in order to get that.
The credit card was for the U.S. corporation.

At the time we were doing alot of business in the U.S. and required me to be transferring money constantly from the U.S. to Canada.

I got a Nevada corporation and kept the bulk of my money in the U.S. to fund my operations there.

thanks montyloree!! :-)
Good to know that you can at least get a card even without credit check.

But is there no way that you can get a credit check here in Canada that is acknowledged by the US credit card companies?

Hey kristy3737,
I've had a U.S. credit card from a bank in Las Vegas. I had an account with that bank and they gave me a small "token" credit line of $1000 with no credit check.

The problem you'll face is that the U.S. credit card company will want to do a credit check on you. If you're not American, you won't be registered with the U.S. credit bureaus. Thus no credit check.

BTW.. We have a credit card site for U.S. credit cards. http://www.express-marketing.com :)

US Credit Card

Postby kristy3737 » Tue Jul 17, 2007 06:32:22 AM

Hi everyone,

I just registered in the forum because I have a question concerning credit cards and hope that someone here can help me.

I have my own, small business and often buy goods from the US for it. Furthermore, I also have a US bank account.
A while ago a friend of mine advised me that I should get a US credit card, because I can pay the bills anyway from my US bank account.

I am not sure if I should really do that. Has anyone of you a US credit card??
On the internet I found loads of different credit cards ( http://www.creditcardapplications.us/ ) and it confuses me completely because I don't know which to take.

Please share your opinion with me!!!
