We believe that everyone we deal with every day is worthy of respect, including our debtors, clients, staff and partners. We cooperate with all parties to achieve optimal results in restoring financial balance to charged-off assets.

Beginning as the Collection Institute of Canada in 1996, Collect Canada forged valuable alliances to become a full-service debt resolution and risk mitigation firm serving a variety of debt collection and legal services needs. In 2005, Collection Institute of Canada changed its name to Collect Canada. Now, as CCL Financial Incorporated, we continue our mission of establishing a new standard of excellence in debt recovery solutions.

Our services encompass the collection of all amounts owed to our clients, including principal, interest and legal costs, where applicable. This is accomplished by using appropriate collection methods supplemented by any specific guidelines provided by our client.

All collections, cash handling, payment processing and reconciliation are administered and controlled by our accounting department. We utilize a centralized posting department at our head office, and personnel are not permitted to personally collect funds from your customers while off-site.

Our proven methodology is combined with our entrepreneurial and highly ethical culture to generate successful asset recovery rates for our clients.

Just a bunch of BS.

Assuming you have not made a payment or provided a signed written acknowledgment of this debt since 2009,then it is stats barred and can not succeed in court.
Also a plaintiff needs to prove the debt by means of original paper work such as credit app. etc. Rarely if ever do collection agencies have these documents and original lenders do not for the most part provide them to the collectors.

Again ignore them untill such time as you are served a Statement of Claim which is very unlikely.
Do not correspond with them in writing or on the phone.

Simply ignore them till they can tell you exactly what debt is for.
It is now too old for them to use the courts to collect. Even if they could if they can not tell you who you owe how could they prove the debt to a judge.

Credit Bureau of Canada Collections

Postby beccal39 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 05:49:13 PM

I have been receiving telephone calls regarding a debt I supposedly owe from 2009. I do not recognize the name of the original creditor nor can I find any info on tate creditor online. I requested CBCC provide me with information regarding the debt but they could not provide me any except to tell me that the debt was listed as undisputable.
What do I do if I don't know for sure that I owe any money and/or to whom? I cannot blindly pay for something I know nothing about.
Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
