OK great. If you ever do get served...highly unlikely file a defence within 20 days using the SOL that was in effect in 2003 as your defence.

The court will throw out case.
Just avoid any contact with agency, they will eventually give up....maybe.

Very little chance of them suing,even if they did you have an affirmitive defence....the sol.
The case would have to be dismissed.

Please tell me this is a credit card or loan debt and not a student loan.

So what are the chances that they will sue me...plus I forgot to mention that they did call me a few times.

Assuming you have not made a payment since 2003 and have not acknowledged the debt in writing and signed....then just ignore it.
Since this debt was prior to 2004, that is to say you defaulted on it prior to 2004 it falls under the old 6 year sol.So it became stat barred sometime in 2009.

Until you receive a real Statement of Claim do nothing including speaking to them.

Received a draft statement of claim from ICE stating that I owed 30K to the bank. The debt was back in 2003. I thought the debt has past the SOL.... What do I do about this, please help.
