What about equifax....even if Tranunion gets cleared up...which is very unlikey Equifax will still reports.

You also should have had that promise in writing.
It is not up to the collection agency to clear reports only the party who placed it which would have been Rogers could and they just don't...unless it was an error.

Honestly (this is sooo embarrassing) I couldnt pay rogers in 2008 and then I got a telus in 2008-2009 and I couldnt keep paying, I lost my job at that time. so now that I want to clear my report I'm the one contacting and trying to solve this in order to have better credit =(

I payed rogers already and they told me they (well was actually global) will send a letter to trans union to clear it up. I still need to contact CVB? to solve things with telus..but I dont have that much money to cover the whole thing..=(

At this point...you can not. Both Telus and Rogers will remain an r9 for six years from the last activity date listed.
After 6 years they will fall off your report and then you can start rebuilding. Even if you paid it off completely now it would make no difference other then your report would then indicate them as paid.
You would still have the 2 R9's...the worst, listed.

Hi-I just checked my credit report and is poor...I had a debt with rogers which I payed and telus. my summary says I owe 1957dls. How can I decrease the amount owed with telus so I can improve my credit score? How long does it take to clear up?
