Hi all,
So, two years ago, I went through a bad move and missed three payments - a $100 credit card bill, a $100 library fine, and a $360 hydro bill which went to collections. I immediately paid all in full. Since then, I've made every single payment whenever I've had the opportunity to - $1000 per month at least on my credit card (reducing the balance to $0 each time).
In threads here, I usually see that it takes about 6 months for credit repair. However, now, two years after, my credit score is exactly the same as it was when I began credit repair - 652 (Poor). It has not increased by a single unit.
Why is this?
There is one potential red flag on my credit report. Here is a picture of the entry for hydro collections:

Why is it only Paid and not Closed? It is also marked as derogatory. Why is it still being updated in 2012 when I paid it in 2010? Is this the problem? What can I do abut it?
Thanks!!
