That wicked daughter of hers, Brianna, should be living in a tear-drop trailer instead of an apartment.I happen to know where she can get one real cheap.

Deborah Waddell: Thank you so much for finally paying the court ordered money so that your daughter Brianna could avoid jail time (ironic that someone who is in collections advises their own daughter not to pay even though court ordered). All of this can be found in the Kelowna Law Courts should anyone choose to look it up. However, it was not an invitation to make more threatening remarks by phone/email as you have done during the last few weeks. If anything I have said is untrue please take all legal recourse you want because I would love for you to have to pay my expenses to that trial. Why is this posted here: because a woman who is in collections and attempts to have a certain persona in public governs herself with deception/lies and threats in her private life. I don't understand how someone like that is in the job profession she is. Peace be with you.

In a private post from the Moderator it was suggested that I tell the whole story so that it was more complete.

Debra (or Deborah) Waddell's daughter (who has a different last name than her) applied to be a tenant in my suite and gave Debra as being the reference of last landlord. This suite became the "party house" and had more than three thousand dollars of damage done to it therefore tenant was given notice. Tenant refused to do end of lease walk thru, but Debra insisted that I owe double the damage deposit back therefore I proceeded thru Landlord Tenancy hearing to keep the damage deposit and have the legal right to collect for more. Upon receiving the notice of such was when Debra proceeded to firstly call me at which time she stated "you know I am a collection agent and I know the law and you are going to pay up double the damage deposit to me". After a minute of her ranting and raving and using profane language I hung up on her and refused to answer any further calls. She then proceeded to text me 37 times threatening to have my income taxes be forensically audited and that I would go to jail, that I was a bully, etc, etc. After 36 texts, I texted her back to state if she did NOT stop I would call RCMP which I did. RCMP informed me that I could call block her text messages and I did. The fact that she called me and informed me that she is a collection agent and attempted to collect on a debt which did NOT exist and then continued to harass me is a breach of what the provincial licensing is. The fact that she would attempt to use her license to attempt to intimidate someone is what I object to. If she did this to me (I have a fair amount of legal knowledge) what is she like with someone who may not be aware of the legalities? For the record, Landlord Tenancy gave me a Judgement against the tenant and I am currently attempting to collect the remainder owed.....guess I need a collection agency.....LOL

I have received a private message from Debra Waddell threatening legal action should I not remove my post. Please commence action against me.

The person replying to my remarks is the person who committed the offenses. Unfortunately my remarks are true and I have the 37 texts to prove it. The fact that you have not initiated legal action is proof that you know what I say is true. When you have a license you have an obligation to the public to conduct yourself in a manner befitting the license and you clearly have not. Fortunately I am in a position to defend myself. My concern is for those you have bullied that can not do that for themselves.

If you're running this site wouldn't it be more educational to inform your audience of debtors to just go to the BPCPA site? This site will give you all complaints! Just to let you know the answer is NO. As a matter of fact the former owner was Asked to sit on the board due to the overwhelming amount of positive feedbacks from all the people they help!
As a collector you are allowed to have a Licenced collection agent name for security and respect!

Based out of Kelowna and Surrey, B.C.,

Western Debt Solutions is a collection agency and thus as regulated by consumer protection laws... if they're doing anything outside of the law, including using bogus names then you can complain about them and they will be investigated... I'm curious to know if consumer protection has received any complaints about this company.

Currently anyone posting malicious and untrue statements on this site will be investigated. If you used an alias to register, remember, you have an IP address that Canadian Money Advisor has records of. Govern yourself Accordingly and remove your posts immediately as they are quite malicious and warrant a Law Suit against yourself and the company you are representing !

Goodness people can be so unkind. I on the other hand had a very difficult time with Debra Waddell (hope thats her right name), of Canadian Debt Solutions, then i know she sold it, and was elated to have this lovely woman who was the General Manager take over my account for Western Debt Solutions. She has spent painstaken time to help me solve my account, and was even able to write some of the interest off. Even when i called the people were so nice and very helpful. I don't know about anyone else, but i found them to be kind, and willing to help me in every way. They knew i was a young person, and got caught up in doing silly things, but they told me everyone everyone makes mistakes in their lives, but that i should be proud of myself for taking the time to give back what was so generously lent to me, and i cant agree more. I think Western Debt Solutions are just plain Awesome, Terrific, and i have a few other debts with other agencies and they were so horrible to me. I wish all of them treated me like Western Debt does. Thank you for all your help, im so happy this has been such an easy expereince. Katy..M...
