How many people in Canada have a credit score above 850?

Postby Raymond » Fri Jul 18, 2008 09:29:16 AM

Actually 5%. What's the highest credit score possible? Find out at:

http://www.fcac-acfc.gc.ca/eng/publications/CreditReportScore/CreditHistory_e.asp

The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada has a really excellent 9 page synopsis of how credit works. Included is a province by province breakdown of the reporting periods of Equifax and TransUnion for various types of transactions such as judgements and delinquent accounts. Also included, among much else, is a breakdown of what goes into a credit score such as FICO's and what it takes to get and maintain a good one.

Really, a must read.

I sent them a cease and desist letter by registered mail. Haven't heard a word from them since. I actually sent a copy to Natale, to Globel and informed them that I sent the same to Bell.

Gosh, I know, but I honestly can't remember her home phone number. And while it was posted (I wonder by who) on the Vancouver forum, the link on Natale - the 3'rd one at the top on Google - ain't working now as you can see by typing in "Deanna Natale." 905 882 (something) over on 27 Ideleswift in Thornhill. Calling her at home as discussed in the thread is the best way unless you want to harangue her and the zombies at her office at the various numbers listed in the thread. Just don't go off the deep end like that "funfunfun" idiot that Monty banned from the forum.

I'm not going to type out pages and pages over and over again. You can read the discussion of how easy it is in at least 50 places on the forum. Think about it: as revolting as that clown funfunfun was, at least even he realized that any collector is at a disadvantage in that they make their living over the phone; their target doesn't. That sets them up if you want to.

/threadview/457/1267/39.html

Her number was listed under her name on the discovervancouver.com website, but they seem to have made some changes to the blog and you have to register now. However, I just found the registration feature doesn't seem to be working right now. Not too sue why.

Her home address and phone number were posted a couple of times near the beginning of the thread as you can see by the above link. However, Monty bowed under her threats and removed them.

I can't remember what it was and she took down the Canada 411 listing on it for obvious reasons.

Good Luck. You'll need it. Lawyers don't have to follow Section 23 of the Collections Act as they are, well, lawyers. Come to think of it, neither do collectors.

I also received a letter from Natale with the bogus small claims court proceedings with the words "draft" and fake stamp on the top left corner. They are calling my house regularly as well. Can I send a cease and desist letter and tell them to beat it. The debt is from April 2004, thus making it stats barred in Ontario. Basically I'm asking how I can get them to get off my back. I'm thinking of sending a cease and desist letter and threatening with a harassment lawsuit if they don't back off. What do you think of this strategy?

The only thing I can think of is if they possibly found another account linked to your name. It might not be with the Law Office, but with Global Credit. Give em a call, it won't hurt.
