I am trying to repair my credit.
I have sent a letter to equifax asking that they remove or fix some items from my report as they were not right. I asked that they contact the creditors and have them proove the debt on my credit report.
Equifax sent me back a letter saying that they all confirmed the debts as accurate, which I know for a fact most are not. Aren't the creditors supposed to prove the debt in writting??
Equifax is taking the creditors word over the phone - and my word means nothing.
The letter from equifax seems to be a form letter.
I purchased your ebook, it's got great information, just frustrating that equifax basically gives us the middle finger when we send them a letter.
would appreciate any advice, on how to proceed - or what organization to complain to.
thanks
