Does anyone know who else COLLECT CENTS INC collects for? They just made a query on my credit file. Not CIBC for me because I bank with them. Drawing a blank...

Call the CIBC National Recovery Centre at 1-800-850-3662 and ask them to confirm they still own the debt. You're supposed to have gotten this in writing ages ago.

Is Collectcents collecting on behalf of CIBC, or has CIBC sold them my debt and are no longer a stakeholder in all of this?

Read Recoveringgambler's initial post on the manipulative way he was treated by the full patch collection agent. Then read how this ex-cop was treated by "Mom" Boucher. Any similarities?

Yes, why is that most "Mom" Boucher wannabees are collection agents? Or maybe the prospect you were dealing with was actually full patch, because everyone at Collectcents is really a "mother."

I would buy a phone recorder and record every call without their knowledge. I noticed this is being done by debtors in America and they have been very successful in court and have been awarded huge damages.
