The world leaders know exactly what they are doing; the system needs cleansing and it will take some time. The crash started in 2008 and if you take all the people that filed for bankruptcy, its going to take at least seven or more years for them to get back on track if they ever do and if that is the case 2015 north america will start to see the light again if were lucky.

Its mostly Obama that wants to keep blowing taxpayers money on inventing government jobs and roles hoping that keeps us out of a double dip recession.

World leaders (read Obama) need to clue in and realize that business is what grows economies... not reckless government spending.

Cut biz taxes, cut personal taxes, spend less on nonsense bailouts.

This is horrible...

So... if the economy keeps tanking, is the government going to keep propping it up with borrowed money? OMG.. that's scary...

I'm not even sure what to call that kind of economic policy!!

The gist of his testimony went something like this: The outlook is bad under current law and daunting if many current policies are extended as expected. And even that may understate the fiscal problem the country faces, because it doesn't factor in potential effects of debt on economic growth. http://money.cnn.com/2010/06/30/news/economy/fiscal_commission_cbo/index.htm
