I called 3 times and had to wait about 20 or 25 minutes each time.

That's because they're all a bunch of "aholes." You took the words right out of Elaine8888's mouth.

It's like this: You can only drive if the MTO says you can. To drive again, he'll have to get the original doctor, or some other doctor that says he can, submit the appropriate form to their Medical Suspension Dept.

Passing a road test is no indication of the risk of a stroke. One is a driving skill issue, the other is a medical risk issue.

On the other hand there are a lot of people out there driving who you wonder how they passed the road test.

all his tests since aug have come back normal there has not been any other issues and if he was given a road test he would pass no problem so how about they think of a person making a living my neighbour who is 77 drives all over the road has hit a parked car yet he still drives on so how come my husband cant appeal this every question he asked every step he wanted to take he was told to wait and see while they review there has to be a way to cut though the red tape If MTO was so worried why did they let him drive from Aug till today what changed from Aug to now

They are more concerned that he may have another stroke/TIA while driving and killing someone else...as you should be.
There are others on the road.

so MTO has put a suspension on hubby license and claims it will be suspended till they review all the medical paper work he sent but they don't say what to do if we disagree with the findings and they still wont look at a road test what a bunch of jerk you would think a road test would help us prove he can dirve
