how is your credit report doing now? is it doing well? or still facing the problem of your CIBC credit card debt which didn't happen? i would like to know what steps did you take to remove such debt from your credit report?

Was the credit limit $3500.00?

In 2007, i paid off a collector for a credit card debt with CIBC. I never bothered to check my credit score. Recently, i got a copy of my credit report and it was reported as paid,bad debt, write off. But the high credit is way off.It is reported as $3500.00. I am sure that i have used that credit card only for a balance transfer of $350.00 and never used it again. TransUnion says that i had the account for 15 months but i never used the card, except for that single balance transfer. Can I dispute the high credit with CIBC? Please advise me. thanks in advance.
