There seems to be more than enough credit cards in Canada.. i'm not sure what the best way to is to compare them aside from opening up a spreadsheet and making a list.

There alot of details though for each credit card... I guess you need to look at interest rates, if the card has rewards etc..

Personally, I have balances outstanding on my cards and I am paying more interest than i should... I have good credit but not great credit.. my goal is to reduce my interest rates.. i need to compare one low interest card against another.

agreed... there are alot of credit cards in canada... it's really important to know what you need as far as credit cards go...

if you're a credit user - meaning you carry a balance, then you need to have low interest credit cards..

if you're a convenience user - meaning that you always pay your balance off each month, then you owe it to yourself to have a rewards card..

each credit card issuer has different credit cards to meet different needs and different levels of credit scores... good credit/bad credit etc

hi..

indeed, Canadian credit cards are numerous in number. searching for the right card would be difficult. however, i can give some tips in order to help you search for a perfect credit card.

first, you must ask yourself why do you need a credit card? afterwhich, you ask yourself again if you have stable finances that won't put you in trouble. and lastly, ask yourself how will you use the credit card.

this questions will help you decide which credit card is suitable for you because credit cards do have categories either a low interest card or rewards card where you can gain cash back or collect points. you can also get secured card to build you credit history with minimal risks.

Stop the world -- my head is spinning!

I know the world is turning on its axis but somebody must be stepping on the accelerator pedal because my head is spinning. I'm beginning to feel sick, confused and irritable. Has the world become a more complicated place to live or is it just me?

In this fast-paced global village, I am bombarded by news sources like CNN whose screen is electrified with multi-visual, aural and ever-changing kaleidoscopic charges of information. And, in case you feel you are missing any brief bits and bytes that are exploding around the world, a ticker tape of ongoing catastrophes runs simultaneously along the bottom.
Information overload is infecting our lives and is multiplied exponentially when we are forced to wade through dizzying amounts of information to make simple everyday decisions.

Just the other day, for example, I was considering a new charge card. Although I regularly receive all kinds of annoying pre-approved offers in my mailbox, I decided to broaden my search on the web. Bad idea. I discovered an overwhelming assortment of credit cards offered by the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA) that includes the standard, gold, platinum, as well as specialized cards, each with a multitude of permutations. Should you actually not be dissuaded to continue at this point, you can follow the links provided by the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, as well.
