A secured credit card shows up as a regular credit card. Whether the card is secured or not is between you and the creditor.

The important thing is that the creditor has deemed you credit worthy enough to give you credit.

I applied directly ..........when that is reported will it show on my credit report ss a secured card. Will the fact that it is secured make it easier for me to get an unsecured card.

Good to know.

Did you get an invitation to receive your Capital One Master Card... or did you call and apply directly?

The good thing about a small limit credit card like that is that it still reports to Equifax and TransUnion and you get the same credit that you would with higher limit cards.

That's a good discovery.
