I think Gail Vaz-Oxlade figures out individual solutions with each couple that she works with...

Even though we talk about debt settlement all the time.. I'm thinking that the public may not think well of it, in general terms.

I like Gail; she gets paid to yell at people and set them straight, its funny watching her do and say the things she does lol. She actually called me a few years ago because someone on her show had talked to one of my reps about our plan. She had a whole bunch of questions and it seemed like she loved our debt relief program, but her show isn’t about that.

I agree with AJ here, her debt roll up plan (cut back/pay more monthly) isn’t going to work for everyone, but again her style doesn't work with anything else then that. Rather then talking bankruptcy she should discuss debt settlement as a option.

Stay tuned she has another show airing soon... something about princesses with more credit then brains, should be good.

There was another episode I watched where the individual accounts were an R9 rating and we know that the rating will not get reversed if you start making the payments again. I believe in this episode she could have recommended debt settlement.

I watched a few episodes of Suze Ormon and she advices people to do debt settlement when their debts have gone to collections.

Overall she is good at what she does. I know you mentioned she mentions debt settlement on her site but she never mentions it on her show. There was a couple on a recent show and I believe they had between $40,000 to 60,000 worth of debt and her option was bankruptcy and not one mention of debt settlement. If you get a bankruptcy trustee to send out letters to the creditors advising them if they do not settle for a certain amount you will file for bankruptcy. The creditors the majority of the time will accept your settlement offer for as low as 10% instead of receiving nothing.

Everything Gail creates is always first class and very helpful.I have just finished reading Gail's new book.Make sure you read it!
