Haven't had a job since university but if the question is how do I make money then I guess investing would be the best way to describe it. I look for situations that are incorrect and then invest so as to profit from the inefficiency.

You do ok but it was less than I expected and I was at one of the seven sisters (seven biggest Bay St firms). I'm still in contact with people from law school and quiting was the correct decision. Compared to the national average they make amazing money but compared to what I want it wasn't even close to enough.

If you want to make the big dollar in life, you need to work hard at it. I never heard of lawyer not doing well, even legal aid lawyers make good money.

Yes. I have an LLB but law turned out to be a lot more work for a lot less pay than TV led me to believe so I quit. I'm not a member of the bar so can't call myself a lawyer but I have all the same education.

Millie P,

I just had a member ask me if you are a lawyer. I replied and told them you were planning to be a paralegal or a lawyer at one time.

"I believe you’re incorrect because if you’re paying it off before the due date they will have no balance to report."

My cards don't report on the due date they report on the billing date. My bill gets printed on the 14th and whatever I owe on the 14th is what gets reported.

In a sense though you are right since the Due Date is the 9th so if I pay it then and don't use it between the 9th and 14th it would report on the 14th as paid and since that is only 5 days. I was thinking more if someone pays their bill early. I tend to pay stuff as soon as it comes in so I don't have to think about it so if I pay it on the 15th or 16th then use it mine would report as utilized.

Millie,

If you learn the reporting dates that the credit card company reports to equifax and transunion, you can max out/pay off etc...
If you can beat the reporting dates, you're ok....

Even if you pay off your balance in full, never charge more then 50% of the limit if you are concerned about your credit score.
