I see they are making claims that they can settle for as much as 80% off the balance and they work on "government debts". In our experience those claims just aren't reasonable (@80% off) or true (settle government debts). And a gmail account for contact?

Just seems like inexperience...

I went to the "correct" site and found the text contained grammatical and spelling errors.

I wonder if this is a collection agency in sheep's clothing?

Ohhh.. Looks like the official website is www.rightcreditsolution.com and NOT www.rightcreditsolutionS.com as indicated. Surprised that our new credit friend let that mistake slide for this long.

A bailiff will NOT show up at your door for a nonsecured credit card........thats illegal.......what are they going to secure from you....if you put groceries on it then reason stands to say that they cant take something that is not secured.........I have had those crazy letters sent to me (I have not been in debt other than my mortgage though) and you just have to wonder where they get their information.

Not unless instructed to by a judge.

You should just start sending payments directly to Capital One if the collection agency is refusing your monthly payments.

Witten LLP

Postby Xche23X » Fri Dec 04, 2009 04:17:27 PM

I just received a letter from the above law firm about a capital one debt. I have on several occassions attempted to make payment arangements with the collection agency that used to have it to no avail. They were not willing to make arrangements but rather for me to make the full payment. Not being in a position to do that I didn't.

Now this letter is telling me that in addition to the original debt, the $1.35 per day interest I now have to pay $350 for legal fees and if I do not 'settle' in the next 10 days they will proceed with legal action. The letter goes on to say that if their client decides to obtain judgement that I may find a bailiff show up at my door, my assets disposed of and my bank or employer may be served with a Garnishee Summons.

Has anyone had any experience with this law firm or this sort of letter? Is it legit? Do I have to pay this $350 they are telling me I owe them?

Help?
