Just be aware while very few creditors actually sue people there a few that do so more frequently than others and Telus is on that list.

Hi

not sure if this will help or not but I am sorta in the same situation. Telus sent me to a collection agency without my knowledge and I only found out by checking my credit.

I spoke with someone at Serivce Alberta about what my rights are and what the collection agencies legal obligations are. They are legally entitled to give you all of the information about your account, I just asked that my info be sent today, so we will see if it shows up
the fellow at Service Alberta advised me to call the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications at 1-888-221-1687. The guy I spoke with was super helpful and now I am pursuing a complaint with Telus and hopefully get Telus to remove my debt from the Creditors. Once you file a complaint with Telus they have to address it so you can acctually talk to a real person, not just someone from the call center I would highly suggest calling them to see what they say about your situation. The people at CBV where yelling at me and saying some pretty rude things.

CBV Collections

I hope someone can help me. I have been dealing with these bottom dwellers some time and still get no where. I received a letter from them several years ago stating I owe money for Telus Mobility which I don't. I did have a cell phone for a short period of time which was cancelled and paid. I told them when I received their info that I don't owe this money and to send me proof which of course, I never received.

I never heard back. I am not home alot so if they called, they never left messages. I recently received a letter from them stating that they have been patient but now they will take legal action against me. I sent a regitstered letter to them demanding legal proof/documentation and gave them 30 days to do so. It has been three months and never received anything.

I found out from Equifax that they placed this issue on my credit record and told them I did not owe this money and they began an investigation.

I received a letter today from Equifax saying they verified this information with CBV and their info is correct. So what did they do, just call them up?

What can I do now? They never ever provided me with any documentation.
