Just because you run a managed account business, does not mean you need a downtown office, and especially since Forex is a 24h a day monster, trading from an office is actually worse.

that being said, when ever someone tells you about their record, ask for proof. Just because they post some number on the site it means nothing.

That is why on my site, I always have myfxbook.com link

or Forex Peace Army verification....

this is the "whois" information for assurancefx.com... it's a little scary...

the site has been in operation since Nov 2010.... only a year... and all of the company names have been masked....
So... I would definitely hesitate and do due diligence before I did anything with this company.

Make sure that they are listed with corporations branch!!

I looked at Assurancefx.com and it seems like a pretty basic site,, probably from his basement... I called the phone number listed on the website and got an answering machine, which means it's not a really big business that has a secretary etc...

the other thing that concerns me is that on the http://www.assurancefx.com/performance.html page, his performances are between 60% and 349 % per month... not being well trained in this matter, I'm not sure how a person can do that?!!

So... as with all things.... a person needs to do their due diligence before buying anything..

Many times there are people who are really good at trading... they've spent hundreds of hours learning the trade.... then they think they can teach that to others... ultimately a person has to spend hundreds of hours learning... especially with foreign exchange trading

Assurancefx.com does NOT exist at the charles street address as they the owner of it would like you to believe. Its a lie. Dont believe me? Just try google maps to confirm. Had it been on charles street in toronto, that would place it to appear respectably in toronto's financial district area.

The truth is, the owners real business address is actually in a whitby ontario RESIDENTIAL location. A condo. The kind people live in. Even the kind of people that would like you to think they are someplace else.

Had I realized that before letting him run down 25k was placed in his trading care to less than 10k in the space of a few months time, I never wouldve put such trust in this persons 'business',

Should you choose to put money into a trading account setup for his trading control, you will find he trades anywhere between 1-3 open trades
that each represent 3% of your account, for the first few weeks, then for some reason after those few weeks, he suddenly decides to 'radically' change and then opens 10 open trades per shot. This too will change as he will then probably run 15 open trades per shot just like he did to me.

By now your deposit has probably dwindled down and may continue to until you finally take the keys away from this forex version of a drunk driver.

So, the lesson cost me over 15k, dont let it be your mistake too.

In the blink of a eye, due to 15 open trades, the markets shifted and suddenly thud, thats when I noticed my account went from 27k, down to 16k. after that, he ran the same left open 15trades a little further down. then closed em in the red. Then, hey, he opens another 15 trades. these too seem to tank. And then again another 15trades, They tank too. so again, he opens another 15 trades in the same manner as if not caring much what will happen to them. Shocked at his trading style, several efforts to contact him that turned into a friggin game of phone tag because noone at fx insurance is willing to pick up the phone. You might experience a few emails returned that carefully avoid answering your key important questions, and he will select to respond with something along the lines of: we are expecting big things to happen with the euro, and also wrote something like: the reason why 'we' put the charles street toronto address on 'our' website and on every posted advertisement on the web we can create, is to not confuse possible new clients from thinking we are not in the toronto area.
The fact is. its really at a residential address in the cozy east of toronto hamlet of WHITBY ontario canada.

I posted here because I did a google search and realized after a period of time, he is back to advertising the exact same way again, hoping to rope in new unsuspecting clients as it appears to me..

The only person who 'managed' to make any money between me and him with my deposit was him, Via his taking 30 percent of the monthly profits back before the ruthless trading model caved in, . clever clever..

Should you ever choose a forex broker to trade on your behalf, please do more research on your chosen broker, As you will find many that will use
tricks such as trying to make a residential address in the boonies, to appear to be in a financial district location.

A flashy website is just that, a flashy website.
