i am 64 and retiring next april i owe a lot of money i have been disabled for 12 years and dealing with comps abuse .
In dec i saw a trustee and he said bankruptcy was the only way out .if i do that my locked in pension from comp will be gone its 30000 as creditors would take it .Comp will only pay lump sum not a monthly amount because it is under 45000 .I am sick to my stomach ,up until nov 2008 i was not doing bad but had some financial set backs sold my house and loss 16000 and made two moves causing me to fall behind in my payments
I have moved all my banking
.I have changed my phone # also and it is now unlisted so i dont get the calls , just get the bills in the mail and throw them out .I am trying to sell what i have just to get by,today i received a letter from a lawyer from bmo for my loc and mc and overdraft threatening legal action .approx 35000 .I can not see a way out Does anybody know of a way out of this and save my pension fund as it is all i have for the remainder of my life .I rent a home and lease a vehicle
thank you
