I dealt with RBC insurance and they will find a way not to pay a claim. I was in an accident not my fault and the other persons insurance company offered me more money then RBC insurance. Here is an insurance company that gives good rates and also offers accident forgiveness if you haven’t had an accident your fault in the last six years.

Agreed Millie...
so often when people call companies liars, they aren't familiar with the agreement that they originally signed...

Reading the agreement, as you know, will clear up alot of mirky water.

The totaled truck issue just needs to get escalated past the front-line staff. Big bureaucracies like GMAC have horrible inter-office communication. The people who you talk to on the phone have no authority or discretion. Call and ask to speak to a supervisor.

hey mavis,,
I'm not sticking up for GMAC , however, it sounds as if you didn't make payments or stick to your agreement with them... what ever the reason.

Did they truly do something outside of the contract?

My brother in law had accident end of February (very lucky to be alive) with leased truck from GMAC.....the adjuster seen the truck and wrote the truck off....as of today they are still responsible for payments because RBC insurance has not "processed" the claim....my sister received call from GM saying they will repossess truck if payments are not bought up to date..she replied that they can go ahead because it was already sent back to them from the garage..of course she was a little more like "look out your window its probably staring you in the face.....its the piece of sh*t in parking lot"....you get the idea...anyways doesnt GM send bailiff to her home today to repossess it and of course it isnt there it was sent to where ever over a month ago now......does anyone else see something wrong with this picture??? what is really going on at GM......theoretically it would have been maximum two payments behind.....but they already have truck back....I dont get it
