For me, fun money is when I encounter an unexpected bill or expense, then hours later the mailman brings an unexpected cheque, in the same amount.

Fun money is money that drops into your hands from the sky, and then you go buy something with it.
That would be fun. I wish that $1000 would drop from the sky right now into my hands... I'm in the house.. so it might not happen.
